Söngvakeppnin songs are now available
Icelandic broadcaster RÚV aired a special program on Saturday evening to introduce the island nation to its 10 Eurovision 2023 hopefuls! Lögin í Söngvakeppninni 2023 revealed clips of the 10 songs that will take part in Söngvakeppnin 2023!
The Icelandic national final will maintain its usual format of 2 Semi Finals and a Final.
- Semi Final 1: Saturday 18th February
- Semi Final 2: Saturday 25th February
- Grand Final: Saturday 4th March
Each Semi Final will consist of 5 songs, with 2 progressing to the final on both weeks. Here are the full songs:

Benedikt – “Þora” (Brave Face)
Celebs – “Dómsdags Dans” (Doomsday Dancing)

Kristín Sesselja – “Óbyggðir” (Terrified)
Langi Seli og Skuggarnir – “OK“
Silja Rós & Kjalar – “Ég styð þína braut” (Together We Grow)
Úlfar – “Betri Maður” (Impossible)
Sigga Ózk – “Gleyma þér og dansa” (Dancing Lonely)
