Today 31 participants were supposed to perform in the Moldovan auditions for Etapa Naţională Eurovision 2023, unfortunately the fan favorite Lola didn’t make it and was disqualified from the competiton. Following the auditions, 10 finalists were chosen by the jury. The jury included Viola Julea, Ion Chiorpec, Liviu Ştirbu, Daniela Crudu and Vasile Advahov. Next stage of the Moldovan selection is the National Final where the winner will be chosen 50% by the public and 50% by a national jury, the final will take place on 4th March.

These are the results after the auditions:

7.NÖRDIKA – “Damn and Down”- 45 – points
8.Victor Gulick – “Let’s Dance” – 45 points
9.COSMINA – “Indestructible” – 45 points
10. Corina Ivanov – “When Love’s Real” – 44 points

Last year Moldova was represented by Zdob si Zdub & Advahov Brothers with the song “Trenulețul”. They reached the Grand Final and finished 7th with 253 points, after coming 2nd in the televote.
