Andrew Lambrou will perform Break A Broken Heart in Liverpool

This weekend OGAE Cyprus hosted its annual masquerade party. One of the guests, invited to the party, was also the Cypriot representative for Liverpool, Andrew Lambrou, who made a stop on the island just before returning back to Australia. During the party, Andrew took the stage and revealed the title of his song – it’s Break A Broken Heart.

Andrew Lambrou already recorded his Eurovision entry in Stockholm, Sweden, and according to OGAE Greece, composers of Break A Broken Heart consists of Jimmy Jansson (Denmark 2020), Thomas Stengaard (Denmark 2012, Germany 2018, Germany 2019, San Marino 2021, Cyprus 2021 and Azerbaijan 2022), Marcus Winther-John (Andorra 2009), and Jimmy Thörnfeldt (Sweden 2021, San Marino 2021 and Cyprus 2021). The Cypriot entry Break a Broken Heart is expected to be officially released on March 2, 2023.

Andrew Lambrou was internally selected to represent the island at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest back in October, but Eurovision fandom met him already at the Australia Decides last year, when he performed his electro-pop hit, appropiately called: ‘Electrify’.
