Armenia has made it official, it’s Brunette for Eurovision 2023

Ending weeks of speculation, AMPTV has chosen pop artist Brunette as Armenia’s participant at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool!
Brunette is known for several hit songs already, and she will bring a different style of music than we are used to from her to Liverpool:

“I am happy to share the news with you. I just create music, and this time I will share it with the European audience!”

Fans would be familiar with her songs NightSmoke Break and Light Blue Eyes, each have accumulated over a million views on YouTube.

AMPTVs Executive Director Hovhannes Movsisyan is hoping to strike gold twice. After Rosa Linn’s success, he has no issue with sending another young and talented artist to Eurovision:

“Last year, sending a young artist to Eurovision [in Turin] was justified. The song is still successful and captivates millions of fans. I hope this year we will surprise the European audience with a unique Armenian artist.”

Armenia’s Head of Delegation for Eurovision Davit Tserunyan added:

“A few weeks after organising the Junior Eurovision in Yerevan, we started the process of selecting our representative for the contest. At this stage, we are working on the song and the video, which I am sure will be impressive!”
