Hello Chegi & Braća Bluz Band and thank you for taking your time for ESCBubble! First of all, how was your reaction when you heard you will be at Pesma za Evroviziju 2023?
Hello ESCBubble! Last year’s performance at the Pesma za Evroviziju 2022. brought us a lot of good things. When we saw that our song was chosen for this year’s festival also, we were really happy.

We remember you from last year, when you performed “Devojko sa plamenom u očima” in the selection, how was that experience for you and what made you decide to enter Pesma za Evroviziju again?
It was a phenomenal experience for our band. The audience in the Balkans region loved the song Devojko sa plamenom u očima, and now we hope that they will also like the song Svadba ili kavga.

Maybe some fans already know you from last year, but for the new ones could you tell us how did you guys meet and formed this band?
All members of our band graduated from the music academy where we met and embarked on this musical journey that we really enjoy.

Your song for the National Selection is called “Svadba ili kavga”, what can you tell us about it, what’s the message behind it?
The song “Svadba ili kavga” is probably the most unusual song we have recorded so far. It talks about love, problems, passion…

How will the staging be at Pesma za Evroviziju 2023? What can we expect from your performance?
Considering that last year we entered the performance preparation procedure last in line, this year we started on time and hired a truly outstanding team. We hope that the performance will be full of passion and energy.

In case of winning the selection, have you thought about an english version or do you prefer to keep it in Serbian?
If victory were to happen, we would dedicate all our energy to present Serbia in Liverpool in the best possible way.

Do you follow Eurovision and do you have a favorite song from the contest?
We follow the festival and have a lot of songs that we love.

Any other plans for 2023? Can we expect new music from Chegi & Braća Bluz Band?
We have a lot of plans for the coming year. We will soon release a new album, and after that several musical projects. This year we have a record number of scheduled performances, so we have to leave a lot of time and energy for that.

In the end, I want to thank you for your time and please, if you have a message for your fans and our readers here on ESCBubble?
Thank you for the invitation. I would like to thank the audience for their support and all the love they send to the music and performers. And we should remember that music will change the world.
