LIVE: Melodifestivalen 2023 – Heat 2

Välkomna alla! Welcome to the live blog for Deltävling 2 of Melodifestivalen 2023. Tonight we will see 7 acts performing for a spot in the Grand Final on March 11th. The two most voted acts will qualify directly to the Grand Final on March 11th, while the third and fourth place will move on to the Semi-Final on March 3rd.

The show will be hosted live by Jesper Rönndahl and Farah Abadi in the Saab Arena in Linköping. You can follow the live stream on SVT Play and are welcome to comment your thoughts in our live blog below.

I was first introduced to the Eurovision Song Contest at the age of 9, when that "Love Oh Love" song was a big hit in Austria. After watching my first contest, I was absolutely mesmerized by that beautiful event. I re-watched it a million times, started to look up older contests and within a few months I knew pretty much all the songs that ever participated.
Also, I'm probably the only Eurovision fan ever, whose favorite entry is Saskia and Serge's "Tijd" from 1971.
