Lord Of The Lost: “We applied last year and got denied for not being radio friendly”

Germany will select its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 through their show “Unser Lied für Liverpool” and ahead of the national final, we had the chance to Lord Of The Lost, who are one of the favorites to win the German ticket to Liverpool with “Blood & Glitter”. Founded in 2007, Lord Of The Lost have become one of the most succesful rock bands in Germany over the years. They are the support act for Iron Maiden‘s Legacy-Of-The-Beast tour, since last year and their latest album “Blood & Glitter” has reached number 1 in the German album charts. With the album’s title song, they now want to represent Germany in Eurovision.

We met up with the band’s guitarist Pi, who has been part of the band for over six years and he told us more about their success and why they have decided to enter Eurovision. Here is the full interview:
