Poland is set for a star-studded national final this Sunday

Dziennik Eurowizjny has updated its readers on the latest information about Poland’s national final, Tu bije serce Europy – Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! set to air on Telewizja Polska this Sunday 26th February.

Firstly, the Interval Act looks to be incredible! Many former Eurovision and Junior Eurovision starts will appear:

  • Edyta Górniak (🇵🇱 1994)
  • Efendi (🇦🇿 2020, 2021)
  • Kalush Orchestra (🇺🇦 2022)
  • Ochman (🇵🇱 2022)
  • Roksana Węgiel (🇵🇱 JESC 2018)
  • Sarah James (🇵🇱 JESC 2021)
  • Stefania (🇬🇷 2020, 2021)

Secondly, TVP aims to simplify the voting this year, making it look more like Eurovision itself. In doing so, the superfinal will be eliminated this year. The winner of the Polish selection will be chosen by 50% jury voting and 50% public vote.

Polish televoters will have 20 votes per phone number and can vote during the Interval Act. In case a tie occurs though, the jury’s votes will decide the winner.

This year’s jury is comprised of four jurors:

  • Agustin Egurola – Choreographer
  • Edyta Górniak – Poland’s representative at Eurovision 1994
  • Marcin Kusy – Director of the Jedynka radio station
  • Marek Sierocki – Polish TV presenter

A total of 10 acts will compete in the Polish national final this year. You can listen to 9 of the 10 songs here:

3. Ahlena – “Booty”

4. Dominik Dudek – “Be Good”

5. Alicja Szemplińska – “New Home” *will be released on 24th February to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine

6. Felivers – “Never Back Down”

7. Maja Hyży – “Never Hide”

8. Jann – “Gladiator”

9. Blanka – “Solo”

10. Y A N – “Champion”
