The six-night extravaganza that is Una voce per San Marino 2023 held its first Semi Final on Monday in Eurovision’s smallest country.
A total of 26 songs were presented on stage in Teatro Titano in the City of San Marino. Four have qualified for the Grand Final on Saturday while another four will have another chance on Friday in Semi Final 5 (the Second Chance Round). Tonight’s results were decided 100% by a five-member jury.
Instead of creating a proper running order, the producers have split the 106 participants into four Semi Finals alphabetically. Those moving on from Semi Final 1 are in bold:

Of note, Alfie Arcuri is moving on to the Final. He is known to many Eurofans for finishing in 5th place “Australia Decides” in 2019, and then co-writing the Eurovision 2020 entry “Running” for Cyprus.
A total of 27 acts will take to the stage on Tuesday, including late-90s Europop sensation EIFFEL 65, Gisele Abramoff from Brazil who made it to the Second Chance Round in 2022, and Kurt Cassar from Malta who finished 16th place in the Final 2022.
Achille Lauro represented the microstate at Eurovision in Turin, but failed to build on Senhit’s success from Rotterdam and qualify for the Grand Final.
