This is the line-up for the final of Söngvakeppnin 2023

The second semi-final of Icelandic selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Söngvakeppnin finished moments ago and we’ve got another two finalists of the show. The show was hosted by Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir, Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson, and Sigurður Þorri Gunnarsson

Tonight we saw five acts performing in the following order:

  1. Úlfar – “Betri Maður
  2. Kristín Sesselja – “Óbyggðir” 
  3. Langi Seli og Skuggarnir – “OK
  4. Silja Rós & Kjalar – “Ég styð þína braut” 
  5. Sigga Ózk – “Gleyma þér og dansa

The two acts which advanced to the final are

Sigga Ózk – “Gleyma þér og dansa

Langi Seli og Skuggarnir – “OK

The remaining six non qualifiers had a chance to be picked for the final as one of the six non finalist was set to get a Wild Card for the final show.

The Wild Card act is

  • Celebs – “Dómsdags dans”

You can check our interviews with Silja Rós, Kristín Sesselja, Úlfar and Langi Seli og Skuggarnir The final of the show will take place next Saturday, 4th of March and the following five acts will be competing for a chance to represent Iceland at Eurovision 2023:

  1. BRAGI – “Stundum Snýst Heimurinn Gegn Þér” 
  2. Diljá – “Lifandi inni í mér
  3. Langi Seli og Skuggarnir – “OK”
  4. Sigga Ózk – “Gleyma þér og dansa
  5. Celebs – “Dómsdags dans”
