Meet the team behind the staging of Vesna’s “My Sister’s Crown” for Liverpool!

As we all know, the Czech national broadcaster ČT has organized a live national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest this year, for the first time after 2008. A total of five acts competed, and after a mix of national televotes and international televotes, the girl group Vesna emerged as the winners, and they will go on to represent Czechia in Liverpool with “My Sister’s Crown”.

Vesna are Markéta Mužátková, Tereza Čepková, Bára Juránková, Tanita Yanková, Patricie Kaňok and Olesya Ochepovskaya. The six girls are working hard on their preparations for Liverpool, and together with the national broadcaster ČT, they revealed the team behind their staging for this year’s Contest.

As Tanita and Olesya told us in the interview prior to ESCZ, they worked together with Zizoe Veselá on the costumes and the choreography for the national selection, and Zizoe, together with one of the band members – Bára, will be the Creative Directors of the performance. Apart from the creative direction and the costumes, Zizoe will also be in charge of the choreography as well. Zizoe was also behind the music video, and the team promises to bring some elements of the music video as well on to the stage in Liverpool.

This won’t be Zizoe’s first time at Eurovision, as she choreographed last year’s Czech entry “Lights Off” for We Are Domi. Working together with her last year was Matyáš Vorda who was the visual director, and he is back again with Vesna as well. He is in charge of all the visuals, and he is the LED Content Creator and Programmer for the team. Vít Bělohradský is also going to be back for the second year in a row, as he will be the main Stage Director of the performance once again. The Czech team promises that if you loved the performance of We Are Domi, you will love “My Sister’s Crown” even more, as the performance is going to be very captivating.
