These are ESCBubble’s qualifiers from the second semi final of Festival da Cancao!

The second semi final of the Portuguese traditional “Festival da Cancao” takes place tonight. A total of 10 acts will hit the stage tonight, and compete to win over the hearts of the Portuguese public and the jury, in order to get one of the six spots that lead to next week’s Grand Final.

As soon as all the songs from this year’s Festival da Cancao were released, we asked you to let us know who YOUR personal favorites are, and who YOU would love to see qualify for the Final. At the moment of writing this article, the current standings were as follows:

  1. Edmundo Inacio – A festa – 26%
  2. Barbara Tinoco – Goodnight – 22%
  3. Bandua – Bandeiras – 11%
  4. Dapunksportif – World Needs Therapy – 9%
  5. Ines Apenas – Fim do mundo – 9%
  6. Teresinha Landeiro – Enquanto e tempo – 6%
  7. Ivandro – Povo – 6%
  8. Voodoo Marmelade – Tormento – 6%
  9. The Happy Mess – O impossivel – 4%
  10. Lara Li – Funambula – 1%

Our team members also listened to the competing songs, and voted. This is how our team ranked tonight’s eight entries:

  1. Edmundo Inacio – A festa
  2. Voodoo Marmelade – Tormento
  3. Bandua – Bandeiras
  4. Teresinha Landeiro – Enquanto e tempo
  5. Ines Apenas – Fim do mundo
  6. Barbara Tinoco – Goodnight
  7. Ivandro – Povo
  8. Dapunksportif – World Needs Therapy
  9. The Happy Mess – O impossivel

Both our readers and our team members agree that Edmundo Inacio should have an easy path to the Grand Final from tonight’s semi. Apart from him, we all agreed also that Bandua, Barbara Tinoco, Ines Apenas and Teresinha Landeiro should qualify tonight. And whilst our readers would love to see Dapunksportif qualify tonight, our team members believe that the last qualifier should be Voodoo Marmelade.

Our poll will close at the end of tonight’s show, so you still have time to cast your vote and let us know who YOUR personal favorites are, right here:
