Update: UK Newspaper reveals UK act.
The UK’s broadcaster The BBC has hinted that the UK entry will be revealed Tomorrow (9th March).
Speaking on the news, BBC Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills said:
“Fans of Eurovision, listen up. I’ve got some exciting news, just dropped this afternoon. Zoe (Zoe Ball-another DJ on BBC Radio 2) is going to have a BIG Eurovision announcement tomorrow morning at 8:30am (UK Time). That’s all I’m allowed to say, but make sure you’re listening to Breakfast with Zoe tomorrow..”
News of the UK entry was also announced by the BBC Radio 2 presenter Owain Wyn Evans, who said on his Radio 2 show this morning:
“Rylan is on with Zoe this Thursday to reveal this year’s UK Eurovision entry. Who’s it gonna be? You’ll have to wait to find out!”
Who could the UK act be?
A number of acts and songs have been rumoured including:
1) Birdy – Raincatchers
2) Freya Ridings – Weekends
3) Mimi Webb – Freezing
4) Rina Sawayama – Frankenstein
5) Mae Muller – I just came to dance
