Blanca Paloma: “It’s very important for me to connect with the audience and with my roots”

Amsterdam’s annual pre-party “Eurovision In Concert” took place back on the 15th of April. Earlier on that day we had a pleasure to speak to the winner of this year’s edition of Benidorm Fest – Blanca Paloma, who is going to represent Spain in Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool.

Blanca has taken part in both editions of Benidorm Fest since its return, and this year she charmed Spain with her intimate but powerful flamenco meets electronic song “EaEa”. We had the opportunity to speak to Blanca about her own realization of the impact on her performance and the deep meaning of the song lyrically, as well as the importance of the Moon for her.
