Edward af Sillén will provide Swedish viewers with commentary for the twelfth time and will cover the Semi Finals and the Grand Final. His first time commentating for SVT goes back to Moscow 2009. He’s only missed commentating for two Eurovisions – 2013 and 2016, both when Sweden hosted, and Edward took on writing and directing roles (fans of the epic 2016 interval act Love Love Peace Peace can thank Edward for writing it!).
Most Eurofans know Måns Zelmerlöw for winning Eurovision 2015 in Vienna with Heroes and then co-hosting Eurovision 2016 alongside Petra Mede in Stockholm. Yet his Eurovision CV has kept growing since then.
- 2017: Eurovision Commentator for SVT in Kyiv
- 2018-2019: Co-hosts UK Eurovision selection shows
- 2019: Sang a new version of Fuego in the “Switch Song” Interval Act at Eurovision in Tel Aviv
- 2020: Jury member at Eurovision: Australia Decides
- 2021: Sang Heroes as part of the Interval Act in Rotterdam
- 2023: Chosen to co-host the BBC’s new Eurovision podcast, Eurovisioncast
- 2023: Eurovision Commentator for SVT in Liverpool
