Käärijä released a song with UMK21 host Antti Tuisku
Finnish Eurovision representative Käärijä has released a song with UMK21 host Antti Tuisku. You can listen to the song ”Auto jää” (”The Car Is Left Behind”) here:
Antti Tuisku is one of the most popular Finnish artists who’s famous not only for his numerous hit songs but also his spectacular stage shows. His career started in 2003, when he participated in the first season of the Finnish Idol. Tuisku finished 3rd in the contest, when the winner was Finnish Eurovision 2007 representative Hanna Pakarinen. During the last 20 years Tuisku has become a true icon of Finnish pop music, and his magnificent concert tours are usually sold out. Eurovision fans probably remember him the best as the host of UMK 2021. In October 2022 Tuisku announced that he’d end his career and he’ll make his last performance in July 2023.
As we can remember, Käärijä won UMK23 in February with a huge marginal. His Eurovision song ”Cha Cha Cha” has become a huge hit song and Käärijä is definitely one of the most popular artists in Finland right now. Our team member Nathan had a chat with him in Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago, you can watch the interview here:
