Mae Muller: “The key to enjoying this process is being prepared”

ESCBubble were in attendance at one of the highlights of the pre party season – Eurovision In Concert, which once again took place at the AFAS Live Arena in Amsterdam on the 15th April.

One of the acts present and able to talk with us was the always very sassy Mae Muller, representative of this year’s host country, the United Kingdom. Although still up and coming, Mae has already smashed charts globally, and her song “Better Days” reached 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2022.  Her 2023 entry “I Wrote A Song” has already charted in the United Kingdom and is racking up impressive streaming numbers before the contest.

Nick from the team caught up with Mae before her performance. They chatted about the pressure of being front page news in the United Kingdom, her social media, and why a single with superstar DJ Sigala was released just days before “I Wrote A Song”:
