Teya and Salena give ESC-Farewell concert before leaving for Liverpool

The Austrian Eurovision duo Teya & Salena are off to Liverpool on May 1st, to start rehearsing for their big performance on the Eurovision stage. Yesterday, April 25th, the official farewell “studio session” took place in the Ö3 studios in Vienna. ORF program director Stefanie Groiss-Horowitz, ORF ESC delegation head Stefan Zechner, ESC scout Eberhard Forcher, friends, family and numerous press representatives and fans came to wish Austria’s song contest duo all the best for Liverpool.

Teya & Salena performed an acoustic version of their ESC song “Who The Hell Is Edgar?” and a selection of their favorite ESC songs, including a medley of several winners, as well as “Watergun“, “Halo“, “Think About Things“, “Snap” and many more. The whole concert was live streamed on ORF and is still available to watch through this link.

ORF program director Stefanie Groiss-Horowitz announced her optimism about the Austrian Eurovision act:

Teya & Salena convince with their extraordinary voices, their stage presence, their confidence and their positive charisma. Their song has been very popular with international bookmakers since it was released – but I’m sure they won’t rest on their laurels, but will do everything in Liverpool at the ESC to make Austria proud with their performance

The Austrian duo will perform their entry two more times, before they are off to Liverpool on Monday. Their next live performance is on Friday, April 28th on the ORF show “Dancing Stars”, followed by another life performance on Saturday at the show “Austria for Life”.

Teya & Salena will perform “Who The Hell Is Edgar?” on spot 13 in the second semi-final on May 11th.
