Marc Roberts is the second act for EuroStarz in Concert 2023!

Eurostarz in Concert is returning to London again this September, and it remains our favourite cure for any lingering Post Eurovision Depression you may have! As the official media partner of this amazing event we’ve announced your first act yesterday – Malta’s 2017 entrant Claudia Faniello, and we can now confirm that the next act joining her on stage at Water Rats will be none other than the runner-up of the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest – Ireland’s Marc Roberts!

Back in 1997, Marc Roberts won the Irish national final titled “Eurosong”, by scoring the maximum 12 points from 6 out of 10 regional juries. He thus became the host country’s entry in the Contest, where he finished in second place, behind United Kingdom’s Katrina & The Waves. He had another attempt to do a Eurovision comeback, and this was in 2008 when he competed with the song “Chances”, which unfortunately lost to Dustin The Turkey.

We will be announcing the third act at this year’s EuroStarz tomorrow. To keep in touch with all the latest news on this event, including tickets sales, stay tuned to ESCBubble!
