Greece to reveal Marina Satti’s song on 7th March

Add Thursday, 7th March to your Eurovision calendar because that’s the evening when we will get our first taste of the Greek entry for Eurovision 2024!

In a special show hosted by Fotis Sergoulopoulos and Jenny Melita on ERT1, Marina Satti‘s song for Malmö will be presented. Multiple sources have stated that the song is in the Greek language and is called Zari, but this has yet to be confirmed by ERT.

The music video was shot at some iconic locations in and around Athens, including the Acropolis, Plaka, Monastiraki and the Herodes Atticus Conservatory,  areas of Attica, including Omonia, Lykavittos, Rafina, and the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport.

The music video was directed by Zac Wiesel from Australia, whose job it is to highlight the rich cultural heritage, history and modern landmarks of Greece. Meanwhile, it will be Fokas Evangelinos who is responsibilw to for the song’s staging at Eurovision. He will work alongside Mecnun Giasar (Majnoon) for the choreography and movement direction.

Marina’s song will perform in the first half of the Semi Final 2 on 9th May.

At Eurovision 2023, Greece was represented by the young Victor Vernicos. His song What They Say failed to reach the Grand Final, and was only the third song from Greece to suffer the same fate.
