Melodifestivalen 2024 Heat 2 just finished, we saw six amazing performances in Gothenburg’ Scandinavium arena, and has two new finalists for Melfest final in Stockholm!
The six acts who competed for the final were:
- Maria Sur – “When I’m Gone”
- Engmans Kapell – “Norrland”
- Dear Sara – “The Silence After You”
- C-Joe – “Ahumma”
- Liamoo – “Dragon”
- Fröken Snusk – “Unga & fria”
After the first round of votes the one who went directly to the final were:
Liamoo with “Dragon”
The remaining five were given another chance in the second voting round and night-starter Maria Sur with “When I’m Gone” succeeded!
Dear Sara and Fröken Snusk finished in third and fourth place, therefore won the chance to compete again in the final qualification to be held after Heat 5.
Engmans Kapell and C-Joe are unfortunately out of competition.
Next week (17th February) we are heading to Växjö, Vida Arena in Heat 3 and will see six new performances as follows:
- Clara Klingenström – “Aldrig mer”
- Jacqline – “Effortless”
- Klaudy – “För dig”
- Cazzi Opeia – “Give My Heart A Break”
- Gunilla Persson – “I Won’t Shake”
- Kim Cesarion – “Take My Breath Away”
