It’s 5miinust & Puuluup for Estonia
5miinust & Puuluup has won Eesti Laul 2024 and will represent Estonia in Eurovision 2024. The final of Estonian national selection for Eurovision took place earlier tonight in Tallinn. There were ten finalists competing for a ticket to Malmö:
- Brother Apollo – ”Bad Boy”
- Carlos Ukareda – ”Never Growing Up”
- Ewert & The Two Dragons – ”Hold Me Now”
- Anet Vaikmaa – ”Serotoniin”
- Ollie – ”My Friend”
- Daniel Levi – ”Over the Moon”
- Uudo Sepp & Sarah Murray – ”Still Love”
- Peter Põder – ”Korra Veel”
- 5miinust & Puuluup – ”(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”
- Nele-Liis Vaiksoo – ”Käte Ümber Jää”
There were two voting rounds in the final of Eesti Laul 2024. In the first round the ten finalists were judged by 50/50 split votes from the professional jury and the Estonian public. After the votes of the jury members and public televote had been counted, the three contestants with the highest amount of points went forward to the superfinal. The three super finalists were:
- Nele-Liis Vaiksoo – ”Käte Ümber Jää”
- Ollie – ”My Friend”
- 5miinust & Puuluup – ”(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”
In the superfinal the voting lines were opened again, and the winner was decided by the public televote alone. After the superfinal and the second voting round the final results of Eesti Laul 2024 were the following:
