‘La noia’ goes platinum in Italy

To say that the 2024 Sanremo Festival was a success would be putting it lightly, as all 30 songs from the competition have charted in Italy.

Angelina Mango‘s winning song, La noia, was just awarded platinum certification in Italy, for having sold over 100,000 copies!

As compiled by Eurofestival News, three other songs are on the cusp of reaching Platinum in the coming days:

  • I’ p’ me, tu p’ te by Geolier
  • Sinceramente by Annalisa
  • Tuta gold by Mahmood

Meanwhile four Sanremo songs have also received Gold certification:

  • Un ragazzo una ragazza by The Kolors
  • Click Boom! by Rose Villain
  • Tutto qui by Gazzelle
  • Vai! by Alfa

Despite being a relative newcomer to the Italian music industry, La noia isn’t Angelina Mango’s first certification:

  • Gold for her album Voglia di Vivere (2023)
  • Triple platinum for her single Ci pensiamo domani (2023)
  • Platinum for her single Che t’o dico a fa’ (2023)
  • Gold for her single Voglia di vivere (2023)

Angelina Mango will perform in the Grand Final of Eurovision 2024 on Saturday, 11th May for Italy with her bop, La noia.
