Marcela: “As soon as we had the chorus of Gasoline we said this is the one…”
Croatian national final for Eurovision Song Contest 2024, Dora, is organised this year in a slightly different way. We will be watching the two semi-finals and a final of the show from the HRT studios in Zagreb where 24 acts are competing for a chance to wave the Croatian flag at Eurovision.
One of the hopefuls is the artist who made her breakthrough to the Croatian music scene in a show Hrvatska Traži Zvjezdu (Croatian version of Idol) back in 2011. After that she went on as a singer of a band Luminize with whom she took part at The Voice of Holland. After the band broke up, Marcela started the solo career and now she will present her song “Gasoline” as the 12th and the final act of the second semi-final which is set to take place on 23rd of February.
