Natalia Barbu wins Etapa Nationala and will represent Moldova in Malmö

Moldova’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 – Etapa Nationala, ended moments ago. A total of 11 acts competed in tonight’s Final, and a mix of jury votes and televoting selected Moldova’s entry for Malmö – and it’s none other than Natalia Barbu.

After all 11 acts performed, the jury scored the songs, and Natalia Barbu picked up all top scores with each of the five jurors. Televoters from all over Moldova tied the results, as their winner was Valeria Pasha with “Anti-Princess”. The hosts confirmed that in case of a tie, the jury vote takes precedence, and thus Natalia Barbu won this year’s Moldovan national selection with the song “In The Middle”.

Moldova is once again sending a returnee to Eurovision, as Natalia Barbu represented Moldova in Eurovision 2007 in Helsinki. Give a listen to Nataliaa’s Eurovision entry for Malmö right below:
