With the casting phase finally at its end in San Marino, plans are in the works to prepare the Semi Finals.

February 15th and 16th will be a busy two days at the Sala Polivalente Little Tony in Serravalle for the judges of Una voce per San Marino 2024. They will be tasked to turn the 129 Semi Finalists into a group of just eight for the Grand Final! Producers will turn the footage from those two days into five Semi Finals that will be broadcast the following week.

Over the five shows, only eight acts will be chosen, one of which is guaranteed to be a Sammarinese act.

Ilenia De Sena is back to host the Semi Finals, and she’ll be joined this year by Camilla Spinelli. The broadcast schedule is:

• Semi Final 1 — Monday, 19th February at 21:40 CET
• Semi Final 2 — Tuesday, 20th February at 21:40 CET
• Semi Final 3 — Wednesday, 21st February at 21:40 CET
• Semi Final 4 — Thursday, 22nd February at 21:40 CET
• Semi Final 5 — Friday, 23rd February at 21:40 CET

These eight newcomers will compete against eight pre-qualified ‘big’ artists in the Grand Final.

Last May, the Piqued Jacks extended San Marino’s non-qualification streak to two years in-a-row when they failed to get any points in Semi Final 2 in Liverpool with their song “Like An Animal”.
