Eurovision 2024 Grand Final predictions

The Grand Final of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest is taking place tonight! 26 (or 25) acts will compete in tonight’s show, and battle it out to find out who will become Loreen’s successor, and the next winner of the Eurovision Song Contest.

We followed the rehearsals closely, and a total of 8 of our team members tried to predict where each of the competing acts will end up in the Grand Final. This is not based on our music tastes, but how we believe things will go tonight. Here’s how our team predicts tonight’s results…

Top Five, with four possible winners

All of our team members agree that it’s looking very good for ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ท Croatia’s Baby Lasagna tonight, as all of our team members predict them to end up in the top three tonight. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Israel’s Eden Golan follows very closely as all but one believe she will end up fighting for one of the top five places as well. Our team members are also convinced that ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท France’s Slimane and ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Switzerland’s Nemo could also snatch the Glass Microphone, or end up in the top four if not. We all agree that completing this top five is going to be none other than ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Ukraine’s alyona alyona & Jerry Heil, as we all predict them to finish around 5th place tonight, with no chance of victory.

Left hand side of the scoreboard

This is where it gets a bit tricky, as apart from the top five, there are 11 more songs that at least one of our team members predicted will end up in the top ten, and that just clearly won’t happen. But if we look at the most consistent ones, we find the following five acts in our team’s overall 6th-10th prediction…

First of all, ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Italy’s Angelina Mango – whilst three of our team members think she will end up in the top five, all but one believe she will end up in the top ten. She thus ends in our overall top six. Next we have ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Netherlands’ Joost Klein who most of our team members actually predict to come in 7th place (if he’s allowed to compete tonight – read more here). We then have ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช Sweden’s Marcus & Martinus and ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช Ireland’s Bambie Thug who we both see ending in the lower half of the top 10, and our team predicts ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท Greece’s Marina Satti to complete this Top Ten. Still possibly in the top ten, but most likely ending on the left hand side of the scoreboard but just missing out, our team members predict ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น Lithuania’s Silvester Belt, ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด Norway’s Gรฅte as well as ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Finland’s Windows95Man.

Bottom Five

Our team members agree that it’s not looking good for these five countries tonight… ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น Austria’s Kaleen, ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡พ Cyprus’ Silia Kapsis, ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Germany’s Isaak, and ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Spain’s Nebulossa we believe have very high chances of finishing in the bottom five, whilst most of our team members agreed that the last place this year might go to ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ Luxembourg’s Tali.

Again, this is not based on our personal music tastes, but a simple prediction of how things may go tonight.

All over the place in our predictions…

Regarding the remaining seven songs, our team members were not at all aligned in their predictions. However, in a way, we sort of agree that ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ช Georgia’s Nutsa Buzaladze will end up on top of the right hand side of the scoreboard, whilst ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ Serbia’s Teya Dora will finish around 20th place in the Grand Final. But when it comes to ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ Armenia’s Ladaniva, ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ช Estonia’s 5miinust x Puuluup, ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ป Latvia’s Dons, ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Portugal’s Iolanda, ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Slovenia’s Raiven, or ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง UK’s Olly Alexander – we predict they can finish anywhere between the lower half of the left hand side of the scoreboard, all the way to the bottom. It will be very interesting to see where any of these countries end up in tonight’s Final.
