Eurovision 2024 Semi Final 1 predictions

The first semi final of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest is taking place tonight! 15 acts will compete in tonight’s semi final, hoping to get one of the 10 tickets that lead to Saturday’s Grand Final.

We followed the rehearsals closely, and a total of 11 of our team members tried to predict which of the 15 acts competing tonight will qualify for the Grand Final – not necessarily the ones we want to qualify. Here’s how our team predicts tonight’s results…

All of us believe they are through to the Final…

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Ukraine and ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ท Croatia! These were the two countries that all 11 of our team members agreed on. The odds are also in their favour, and Baby Lasagna as well as alyona alyona & Jerry Heil should be sailing through to the Final.

Most of our team members predict they’re through to the Final…

Behind our top two we find a total of three acts with 10 out of 11 of our team members predicting they will qualify tonight. Those are: ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น Lithuania’s Silvester Belt, ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช Ireland’s Bambie Thug, and ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Finland’s Windows95Man. Considering they are pretty high in the odds, as well as big fan favorites, none of these three acts should have any issues qualifying in tonight’s show.

Nine of our 11 team members in this prediction believe that we will also see ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ Poland’s Luna and ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Portugal’s Iolanda in the Grand Final, as both got 9 of our team members convinced.

Borderline…

Four countries have been placed in our “Borderline” section. Eight of our team members predict that ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ Serbia’s Teya Dora, ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ Australia’s Electric Fields, and ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ Luxembourg’s Tali will qualify from tonight’s Semi Final, and six of us believe that ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ Slovenia’s Raiven will manage to sing her way to Saturday’s Grand Final.

Our team members predict they’re out…

Both Eurovision returnees are in this list. None of our team members predict ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ธ Iceland’s Hera Bjรถrk to qualify, and only one predicts that ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฉ Moldova’s Natalia Barbu will qualify. Slightly ahead we find ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Azerbaijan’s Fahree feat. Ilkan Dovlatov with three team members predicting their qualification, and ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡พ Cyprus’ Silia Kapsis completes our non-qualifier list with five of our team members predicting its qualification tonight.
