As we reported earlier today, the Dutch Eurovision entrant Joost Klein missed performing in the first dress rehearsal of the Eurovision 2024 Grand Final. The story was developing throughout the day, and we can now confirm that the Netherlands will NOT be rehearsing in tonight’s Jury Final either, due to an alleged physical confrontation he had with a Swedish photographer.

The Dutch Eurovision entrant Joost Klein qualified last night for the Eurovision Final from Semi Final 2, and thus earned his place in the best 26 of this year. However, due to the incident from this morning, the EBU has opened an investigation on the matter, and this is still ongoing. The juries will watch Joost’s performance from Semi Final 2 and rank the entries with that performance. Whether the Netherlands will compete or not, we will find out tomorrow – if the Netherlands is disqualified or they withdraw, the results of the juries will be adjusted accordingly.
