Käärijä is the Finnish spokesperson in Eurovision 2024

Last year’s Eurovision runner-up Käärijä will give the points of the Finnish jury in Eurovision 2024 Grand Final. The Finnish broadcaster YLE announced the news this morning in the social media channels of Uuden musiikin kilpailu.

After his success in Eurovision 2023, Käärijä has secured his place as one of the biggest names of the Finnish music. Käärijä has a lot of fans not only in Finland, but other European countries as well. In autumn 2023 he made an European tour, and most of the gigs were sold out. In his home country Käärijä won five Emma Awards (Finnish Grammys) in Emma-gala 2024, including ”Artist of the Year” and ”Song of the Year” (”Cha Cha Cha”). In December 2023 Käärijä told that he’d take about 6 month break from touring, even tough he did perform in UMK24 with Erika Vikman:
