Besa Kokëdhima to compete in Una Voce Per San Marino 2025

Albania’s Eurovision 2024 representative Besa Kokëdhima is set to compete to represent San Marino at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.

The preliminary casting rounds for Una Voce Per San Marino 2025 have already begun and the Albanian singer is scheduled to take part in the third casting phase which is will take place between the 14th and 16th of November. Besa’s participation started out as fan speculation until her management team confirmed that this is indeed the case. However, no details about her song have been revealed.

This is not the first time Besa Kokëdhima will compete to represent another country other than Albania at Eurovision. In 2009, she attempted to represent Romania with the song ‘Nothing Gonna Change.’ Notably, this is also not the first time that the Albanian representative at Eurovision attempted to represent another country on the year following their participation. In 2022, Ronela Hajati represented Albania with ‘Sekret’ just before she attempted to represent San Marino in 2023 with the song ‘Salvaje.’ In the end, she reached the final of Una Voce Per San Marino but did not make the top 10.

Besa Kokëdhima represented Albania with the song ‘Titan’ at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. She finished 15th in the semi final with 14 points.
