NeonoeN will represent Montenegro in 2025 with ‘Clickbait’

Montenegro’s national final for Eurovision 2025 – Montesong 2024 finished only moments ago. 16 acts competed in the re-branded national final, and a mix of jury votes and televoting have decided Montenegro’s entry for Basel, and it’s none other than NeonoeN with “Clickbait”.

Apart from the competition part, there were several special awards given during the show, including the award for the Best Performance of the night, which went to Tina Džankić. Afterwards the lines were closed, and the votes were being revealed.

The jury members were:

  • Hari Mata Hari (represented Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2006)
  • Nuša Derenda (represented Slovenia in 2001)
  • Dado Topić (represented Croatia in Eurovision 2007)
  • Elena Risteska (represented North Macedonia in Eurovision 2006)
  • Tijana Bogićević (represented Serbia in Eurovision 2017)
  • Emmelie de Forest (represented Denmark in Eurovision 2013)
  • Danijel Popović (represented Yugoslavia in Eurovision 1983)

After the jury votes, Nina Žižić took the lead with 59 points in front of NeonoeN in second with 54, and Milena Vučić in third place with 48 points. The votes of the jury were later switched to Eurovision style votes. The results were as follows:

The hosts then revealed the televoting results. The full televoting results were as follows:

241 Isak Šabanović – Ljeto, ljeto, ljeto

When all the votes were added together, NeonoeN were announced as the winners with a total of 20 points, only 1 point ahead of the jury winner – Nina Žižić, whilst the band Baryak finished in third place. Thus NeonoeN will be representing Montenegro in Eurovision in Basel with their song “Clickbait”. Give a listen to the winning song right here:
