The participants of next year’s Festival Di Sanremo will be announced on December 2 by new artistic director Carlo Conti on TG1.

Among the rumoured names that will take part in the competition are Elodie, Gaia, Blanco and Bresh.

This year, there will be 24 big artists competing for the title with no Sanremo Giovani entrants in the race. All 24 songs will be heard for the first time on February 11 during the first night of the competition. The songs will be heard again on the second and third night, twelve on the 12th and the other twelve on the 13th. The covers night will take place on Friday February 14th and the results of which will not be included in the final outcome.

The winner will be decided on Saturday February 15th during the fifth and final night, where the winner is usually expected to represent Italy at Eurovision.
