In September we informed you that Luxembourg Song Contest returns for its second edition. Today the Luxembourgish broadcaster, RTL has opened for a design of the new trophy which will be awarded to the winner of LSC 2025. The ones eligible to apply are all Luxembourgish artists/artists who reside in the Grand Duch or the ones who are part of their cultural scene.

In the eligibility criteria for the design it is stated that creation must be original done in a free technique and that it must respect the dimensions and weight which allows it to be hand-to-hand delivered on stage. Maximum of three works per artists is allowed. Submissions are open from now until the 1st of December, and there is a prize of €4500 for the winning design. Luxembourg Song Contest made its debut last season and was used to select representative of Luxembourg for their return to the show after 31 year break. Like previous edition it will be taking place once again at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette, with the final set to take place on 25th of January 2025.

Tali won the inaugural show with the song “Fighter” and she went to defend the Luxembourgish flag at Eurovision 2025 she scored a total of 103 points which was enough for the 13th place in the grand final of the show. You can watch her performance below
