Moldovan broadcaster, TRM has opened the submission window for the entries which will be competing at Selecția Națională 2025.
Deadline for all the interested artists to apply in order to take part at the show and compete for a chance to represent Moldova at Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel is 27th of December 16:00 CET. After the submission window closes it is expected that a commission will review all the songs between 28th of December and 15th of January. The songs who proceed to the further stage of the show will traditionally be invited for the live audition round which is expected to take place somewhere between 15th of January and 5th of February. The jury will narrow down the acts to 10 which will be competing in the grand final of the show.
The final is expected to take place between 20th and 28th of February. The act which will be waving the Moldovan flag in Switzerland will be determined by 50% televotes and 50% jury votes.
Last years edition of the show was won by another Moldovan returnee to ESC stage, Natalia Barbu whose entry “In The Middle” left her at the end of the scoreboard as she received only 20 points and placed her as 13th in the first semi-final. You can check out her performance below.
