As eurodiena.lt announces the grand final of Eurovizija.LT is set to take place at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas on 15th of February 2025.
Lithuanian national selection Eurovizija.LT will begin in January and it will span through every Saturday until the grand final which is set to take place on 15th of February 2025. It is still unclear whether the show will have four our five heats out of which the best acts will qualify to the final. Those information will be revealed after the competing acts get selected out of all the submitted entries which is expected to happen by the end of the week. The winner of the selection will be selected solely by the televote.
The Žalgiris Arena is the largest concert venue in the Baltics spanning through 39684 m2 and it has the capacity up to 20000 viewers. This is not the first time that the Lithuanian selection for Eurovision Song Contest takes place in the biggest arena in the Baltics as it already hosted the grand final twice in 2018 and 2020. Last year as well as in 2017 the grand final of the show took place at Švyturys Arena in Klaipėda.
The grand final of previous edition held in Klaipėda saw Silvester Belt emerging as the winner of the contest and becoming the 24th representative of Lithuania at Eurovision.
