Ines and Korea will host Eesti Laul 2025

ERR has announced that the hosts of Eesti Laul 2025 will be the two former participants of the contest Eda-Ines Etti and Karl Kivastik.

Ines represented the Baltic country back in 2000 singing “Once in a Lifetime”. Ines scored 98 points and ended the contest at 4th place. This will not be her first time she has been involved with Eesti Laul. On the other side Karl Kivastik known as Korea (member of 5miinust) will be making his debut as the host of the show. At Eurovision 2024 5miinust performed “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi” with Puuluup and got a total of 37 points in the grand final of the show which was enough for the 20th place.

In addition to this news, ERR has confirmed that one of the artists needed to change the name because of the trademark. Johanna Elise Kabel initially wanted to perform as Joelle but she was forced to change it due to the trademark and she will go by as Johanne Elise.

A total of 16 acts will be performing in the grand final of Eesti Laul 2025 which is set to take place on 15th of February. All of the songs have been released you can check them out HERE. On 16th of December ERR has revealed the 20 acts which are competing for the ticket to the final and fill in the 16th place in its line up. The voting opens on28th of December at Raadio 2 website and it will remain opened all the way until the 5th of January at 18:00 Estonian time. The winner of the wild card round will be revealed on the morning of 6th of January as Raadio 2 will be broadcasting a special show about the search for the last finalist where audience will get to know all of the acts a little better.

Among the acts there are some well known names including several former representatives of Estonia at Eurovision Song Contest Laura Põldvere (2005 and 2017) and Gerli Padar (2007) and finalists of Eesti Laul, Mick Pedaja and Synne Valtri. All of the songs are available to be listened on the Eesti Raadio mobile app and on the Raadio 2 special page which you can access HERE.

Twenty days ago the tickets for the final of Eesti Laul went on sale. You can go to the show and support your favourite to win and represent Estonia at Eurovision but first do not forget to cast your vote the final qualifier to the final of Eesti Laul 2025 in our poll below
