On 20th of November, Latvian broadcaster, LTV revealed the names of 20 acts competing in their national final, Supernova 2025. Among the acts there are two former Eurovision representatives of this Baltic country: Citi Zēni (2022) and Justs (2016) they are hoping to become first Latvian acts who went to the contest twice in addition to them some very familiar names to the audience are competing Katrīna Gupalo as well as the absolute veteran of the show – Markus Riva who is there for the 10th time (so far his best results was 2nd place in 2015 and 2019. All of the songs competing at Supernova 2025 were released this morning.

The semi-final of Supernova 2025 is set to take place on 1st of February the final of the national selection is set for the week after the semi and it will be held on the 8th of February. The finalists will be chosen by jury and public voting and then the same voting system will be used in the final to select the winner and Latvian representative at Eurovision 2025 in Basel.
