Croatian broadcaster HRT has revealed the list of 24 acts which will be competing for a chance to represent this Balkan country at Eurovision 2025 in Basel.

A total of 221 songs were submitted.  Since Dora 2019 that was the highest number of entries which judges needed to review in order to select the semi-finalists of the show. Seven expert jury which chose the 24 songs which will be competing over the two semi-finals. In addition to those acts the jury chose 4 backup songs in case any chosen artist cancels, last year among the list of the reserves we had a chance to see Baby Lasagna who ended up in the final line up after Zsa zsa gave up from competing.

The list of the participants of Dora 2025 includes some of the returnees to the show (Runner up of Dora 2022, Marko Bošnjak; finalist of last years show Natali Balmix, Marin Jurić Čivro competed at Dora 2020 and Luka Nižetić who took part at Dora 2005, 2007 and 2019) the list includes famous Croatian bands such as Magazin and NIPPLEPEOPLE as well as some newcomers to the show.

There are four songs on the reserve list:

The decision about the 24 acts competing at Dora 2025 was made by a seven member expert jury which consisted of:

• Željen Klašterka – musician and composer;
• Tihomir Preradović – composer and music producer;
• Monika Lelas – presenter and editor on Croatian Radio’s Second Program;
• Ivan Pešut – musician, music producer, composer and guitarist;
• Jelena Balent – music editor at Croatian Radio and singer;
• Davor Medaković – music editor at Croatian Radio and author of music shows;
• Luka Grgić – director, director stage performance of Baby Lasagna at the Eurovision Song Contest
