RTVE releases 16 competing songs for Benidorm Fest 2025

Earlier, in a press event hosted by Spanish broadcaster RTVE, and its Director of Communications María Eizaguirre, the 16 songs that will compete at the fourth edition of Benidorm Fest, Spain’s national final for Eurovision 2025, were revealed. All songs are now available to listen to on the VOD platform RTVE Play, and will drop on all streaming platforms on Friday. The artists were revealed at an earlier press event on the 12th November at Prado del Rey in Madrid.

The 16 songs, with links to listen to each one, are as follows:

Spanish HoD Ana María Bordas and RTVE’s Director of Programming Sergio Calderón were also in attendance to share their vision for the show. Bordas commented that the aim was not to simply “consolidate” Benidorm Fest, but to “grow the format” and give it “new energy” next year. Details were also revealed about the events the municipality will be putting on, including Euroclub at Penelope Benidorm and the Friday fan’s concert at the Auditorio Julio Iglesias. The ‘Orange Carpet’ opening ceremony will not return in 2025.

The show itself will take place over 3 nights in the same week between 28th January and 1st February 2025, with 8 songs competing in each semi-final, hoping to be one of the 8 finalists on the Saturday. The voting in each show will be decided 50% by the expert jury in the arena, 25% by the demoscopic jury selected by an independent agency, for which the application process opened today, and and 25% by the public.
