RTP, Portuguese national broadcaster, is once again organizing Festival da Canção in order to find their song for Eurovision. A total of 20 songs will compete once again for representing Portugal in Eurovision in Basel. The names of the 20 composers have been announced earlier this year, and now RTP has confirmed which composer will compete in which of the two semi finals.
The song titles, as well as whether the composers will perform their own songs, or they will invite a singer to sing their songs instead, is yet to be confirmed by RTP. However, we now know the composers line-up per semi:
Semi Final 1 (February 22)

Semi Final 2 (March 1)

The Grand Final will take place on the 8th of March, and the winner will once again be selected by a mix of jury votes (50%) and televoting (50%). The names of the competing artists as well as the song titles will be revealed in the coming days/weeks.
