Shkodra Elektronike win Festivali i Këngës and will represent Albania in Eurovision 2025
The 63rd edition of the traditional Festivali i Këngës took place in Tirana’s Pallati i Kongreseve over the last couple of days. In the Grand Final that took place last night, 15 acts competed, and after the voting of the jury and the public, Shkodra Elektronike emerged as the winners, and will thus go on to represent Albania in Eurovision 2025 with their song “Zjerm”.
In a very exciting voting sequence, Shkodra Elektronike took the lead after the jury votes, only 4 points ahead of second-placed Elvana Gjata, and 26 points ahead of Alis in a distant third place. Whilst Elvana Gjata was the favorite with the fan/diaspora online vote, Shkodra Elektronike won the Albanian televote overwhelmingly, with more than double the amount of votes than Elvana Gjata received, which was then enough to increase their lead, and beat Elvana Gjata in the Final by 8 points – 143 vs 135.
The full results were as follows:
143 Shkodra Elektronike – Zjerm
135 Elvana Gjata – Karnaval
59 Alis – Mjegull
54 Vesa Smolica – Lutem
