Benidorm Fest 2025 has its first four finalists
The first evening of Benidorm Fest 2025 has ended moments ago. Eight acts competed in tonight’s first semi final to win over the hearts of the juries and the Spanish public, and to get one of the four places that lead to Saturday’s Grand Final. Many changes were introduced this year, the biggest one being that the demoscopic jury was completely removed, which meant that televoting was deciding 50% of the result.
After all the songs were performed, and interval acts from Edurne (who represented Spain in Eurovision 2015) and the girl-band Ginebras, it was time for the results. Contrary to last years, the voting results were not made public, but instead, the jury announced which four acts were the ones that got the most votes from them, and they were (in random order):
- Kuve – Loca xti
- Lachispa – Hartita de llorar
- Daniela Blasco – Uh nana
- Lucas Bun – Te escribo en el cielo
The four acts that received the most votes from the public were (in random order):
- Lachispa – Hartita de llorar
- Daniela Blasco – Uh nana
- Sonia & Selena – Reinas
- Kuve – Loca xti
Overall, when all the points are put together, our four qualifiers are (in order they were announced):
- Kuve – Loca xti
- Lachispa – Hartita de llorar
- Daniela Blasco – Uh nana
- Lucas Bun – Te escribo en el cielo
