The Lithuanian broadcaster, LRT, has revealed more information about their national selection show EUROVIZIJA.LT.
LRT is sticking to this new national selection format for a second year in a row. The contest will be featuring the five prerecorded semi-finals which are set from 11th of January to 8th of February, there will be participating 45 artists in all. The decision about the winner and their representative at Eurovision 2025 will be made through a live grand final show which is set to take place on 15th of February. Final will take place in the Žalgiris Arena, in Kaunas. And so, the hosts will be: Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė and a new face in this role Rimvydas Černiauskas.
Last year G. Martirosian and N. Augustė were responsible for hosting the event in the main stage and another host was in the backstage with participants. This year all the hosts will have the same role.
The decision of winner will be made by juries and televote, then 3 artists will go to the super final and the final verdict will be made by televoters.
Lithuania finished 14th in last year Eurovision with a song “Luktelk” by Silvester Belt.
