The song submission deadline for Moldovan national selection for Eurovision Song Contest was closed on 27th of December. Recent news involve the date and place of the next stages of the show TRM will be organising a televised grand final of the contest which is set to take place on 22nd of February.
As it has been revealed in the official document published on the website of TRM after the submissions have been closed a committee was in chare of evaluating the songs. They have until 15th of January to finish their work. Next stage is the live auditions which will be held on 18th of January. At the end of the auditions the 10 acts with the best results will advance to the grand final which will be organised on 22nd of February. In the final the decision will be made 50% by the jury and 50% by the televote. In the case of a tie, organizers will be having the right to decide the winner.
Last years edition of the show was won by another Moldovan returnee to ESC stage, Natalia Barbu whose entry “In The Middle” left her at the end of the scoreboard as she received only 20 points and placed her as 13th in the first semi-final. You can check out her performance below.
