50% jury and 50% televoting to determine the results in Malta

The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is starting in just a few hours. 24 acts will compete over two Semi Finals (taking place tonight and on Thursday night), 16 of which will qualify for the Grand Final on Saturday.

During the rehearsals in MFCC in Ta’ Qali, it was revealed that this year’s results of Malta Eurovision Song Contest are going to be determined equally by the juries and the televoting. The last time this method was used was back in 2023 – last year the results were determined by 78% juries and 22% televoting.
