Artists split for Chefsache ESC 2025 has been announced
The decision about German aritst competing at Eurovision 2025 in Basel will be made through a special preselection show Chefsache ESC 2025 „Wer singt für Deutschland?” (Who sings for Germany). Stefan Raab is the one behind the show together with RTL and ARD while Barbara Schöneberger will be the host of all shows.
A week ago all of the 24 artists have been revealed and now it has been announced which ones are performing in the first show which is set o take place on 14th of February. The list is as follows:
- Abor & Tynna
- Benjamin Braatz
- Cage
- Chase
- COSBY
- Enny-Mae x Paradigm
- Equa Tu
- FANNIE
- Feuerschwanz
- Janine
- Jonathan Henrich
- JULIKA
The remaining 12 will be competing in the second show which will take place on 15th of February. They will be singing a cover song or some of their older songs. Their Eurovision entry will be performed only in case they advance to the next round. Best seven will be qualifying from each show to a semi-final which is set for 22nd of February and out of those acts the 9 finalists will be selected. The final show is set to take place on 1st of March.

The jury for the stage consists of:
- Stefan Raab (German representative at Eurovision 2000, TV host and producer)
- Yvonne Catterfeld (singer and songwriter)
- Elton (comedian and TV host)
- Guest member for show 1: Max Mutzke (German representative at Eurovision 2004)
- Guest member for show 2: Johannes Oerding (singer and songwriter)
Tickets are available HERE. Last year in Malmö, Germany managed to break the curse of being placed among the last acts competing in the final of Eurovision Song Contest as ISAAK managed to receive a total of 117 points which was enough for 12th place. You can check out the performance below
