Bára Katrín: ‘Rísum upp is about the sense of unity and showing that you are not alone’
Icelandic national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Söngvakeppnin, continues this Saturday. A total of five acts are competing for the three tickets to the final of the which is set to take place on 22nd of February.
One of the five artists competing this Saturday is a 19 years old singer, Bára Katrín Jóhannsdóttir. This will be her debut at the stage of Söngvakeppnin. We had a lovely chat about her musical beginnings, the job where she works as a food tour guide and gave us some recommendations what not to miss to try when in Reykjavík as well as the creative process behind her entry Rísum upp. You can watch the full interview below:
