Claude’s Eurovision entry will be revealed on 27th of February
Last December, Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS has revealed that Claude will be the one representing them at Eurovision. He was selected by a special comittee which consisted out of: Cornald Maas, Jacqueline Govaert, Sander Lantinga, Hila Noorzai, Carolien Borgers and Jaap Reesema. They said that they have chosen a meaningful, connecting and hit-sensitive song with international appeal, which can effortlessly conquer the hearts of young and old Eurovision viewers. Today on social media both the broadcaster and Claude have been posted the date 27th of February for the entry release.

Claude was born and raised in Congo and at the age of 13 he moved to the Netherlands. His breakthrough as a musician happened in 2022 when his debut single Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot), hit more than 57 million streams and achieved Platinum Status. It was one of the most streamed songs on Spotify in 2023. This Claude’s nomination for a Top 40 Award and for an Edison.
Last year Claude has released his debut album “Parler Français”. He has won the 3FM Award for the “Best Newcomer” and Qmusic crowned him as “Best Artist of the Year”. Claude also took part in a popular Dutch TV show “Beste Zangers”.
At Eurovision 2024 the Dutch flag was waved by Joost who was also internally selected to represent them with “Europapa”. After scoring 182 points in the second semi-final, he was among the qualifiers. Due to an incident a decision has been made to disqualify Joost Klein and The Netherlands was out of the final. Even though it has been uncertain whether AVROTROS will return to ESC 2025, broadcaster has confirmed on 23rd of October that they will be taking part at the contest in Basel.
