Emmy will represent Ireland at Eurovision Song Contest 2025
Moments ago, RTÉ, has broadcasted a special edition of The Late Late Show Eurosong 2025 in order to select the act who will wave the Irish flag in Basel and the winner is Emmy with “Laika Party”
The contestants of Eurosong 2025 were:
- Adgy – Run Into The Night
- Bobbi Arlo – Powerplay
- Reylta – Fire
- Samantha Mumba – My Way
- Niyl – Growth
- Emmy – Laika Party
The voting results were (international jury, national jury and audience votes)
- Emmy – Laika Party – 34 points (10, 12, 12)
- Samantha Mumba – My Way – 26 points (12, 10, 4)
- Bobbi Arlo – Powerplay – 20 points (6, 6, 8)
- Reylta – Fire – 18 points (8, 8, 2)
- Niyl – Growth – 18 points (4, 4, 10)
- Adgy – Run Into The Night – 10 points (2, 2, 6)
Like last year, a studio panel shared their impressions of the potential entries right after each act has performed. This year it consisted of:
- Bambie Thug – singer and representative of Ireland at Eurovision 2024;
- Donal Skehan – singer, food writer, cook, participant of Eurosong 2008;
- Laura Fox – presenter at RTÉ 2fm;
- Arthur Gourounlian – dancer and television personality
The show featured a special performance of “Tattoo” by three former Irish Eurovision winners: Linda Martin (1992), Niamh Kavanagh (1993) and Eimear Quinn (1996).
